The Space

The Space is a free website for artists and audiences to create and explore exciting new art, commissioned and shared around the Whole Wide World. I was the UX Design Consultant on this project.

Set up by the BBC and the Arts Council of England, The Space is a free public space, a not-for-profit public service for artists and audiences around the world.

Initially I was drafted into provide two alternative designs

Native Projects App

Projects is a native Mac OS application for scientist and researchers. I was involved in designing the UX and UI for the app.

Altmetric is a London-based start-up focused on making article level metrics easy. I helped them get their site off the ground by working on UX & JavaScript widgets.

Scifoo Conference

Foo Camp is an informal conference format pioneered by O’Reilly Media. I designed and developed this simple one page site.

Projects App

The only desktop software designed specifically for scientific researchers that enables them to organise their research. I was involved in designing the site as well UI & UX elements in the app.

VW Eos micro-site

A bespoke VW Eos content hub within the MailOnline Femail channel highlighting the 4 key “Guiltless Pleasure” campaign. Created the flash picker so the user could change the colour of the VW.

Mitsubishi micro-site

Mitsubishi ran an ad campaign to promote a new range of cars that could be test driven at any local dealership.

Boss micro-site

BOSS is the Official Fragrance and Skincare partner of the England Cricket Team ran an ad campaign promoting that it would provide the players with their range of scents and skincare products.

Bilka R&R

Bilka implemented Ratings & Reviews on their shopping store. This project involved designing & developing the UI elements and layout.

Oxfam

Oxfam ran an advertising campaign on the Metro newspaper’s website using Flash video in a page peel ad format to encourage users to donate money to the developing world.

Ratings and Reviews UI

Bazaarvoice’s Ratings and Reviews software appears on a number of sites across the web. This was an example of what was possible with pure for Peek.

Epson R&R

Epson implemented Ratings & Reviews on their various shopping & corporate stores. This project involved designing & developing the UI elements and layout.

Vodafone implemented Ratings and Reviews on their UK site. This project involved designing & developing the UI elements and layout to fit in with the Vodafone brand.

Oxford Vision

I designed and developed this multi-lingual website for Oxford Vision, an educational organisation that helps international students find Colleges, Universities and accommodation.

Unlock Democracy

Charter88 & New Politics Network merged to launch a new campaigning organisation called Unlock Democracy. I designed & developed their brand and website.

Social Spider are a design, communication and social action agency. I designed and developed their brand/website to give them a fresh clean and professional look.

Beechams

‘Fight back with Beechams’ was a campaign searching for people who were fighting to achieve their ultimate goal. It also promoted Beechams All in One range.

Douwe Egberts Coffee

Douwe Egberts Coffee ran a campaign looking for coffee experts to share their tips on making the perfect cup of coffee as well as promoting their new brands.

Skillset

I was commissioned to design and develop an interactive career guide to the TV industry for Skillset, the sector skills council for the audiovisual industries in the UK.

Living TV

LivingTV apart of Virgin Media were launching five new programs ‘Dirty Dancing’, ‘Grey’s Anatomy’, ‘The Underdog Show’, ‘America’s Next Top Model’ & ‘Lipstick Jungle’.

QVC, celebrating their 15th birthday, featured special pricing on some of their favourite products, including jewellery, fashion and beauty must-haves.

Nescafe

Nescafe ran a campaign about creating the perfect cup of coffee, encouraging drinkers to follow them through their journey. Site uses CSS & Flash.

COI – European Elections

Using this micro-site for the Local and European elections the COI ran a campaign to get the general public to register to vote. The site also included flash video.

Creative Solutions

Portfolio site showcasing Creative Solutions design work. Creative Solutions are a design department within Associated North Media. This site was developed in flash.

TFL – Cycle Hire scheme

This was an advertising campaign to promote the new Transport for London Cycle Hire scheme. This appeared on The Evening Standard and Metro website.

Pizza Hut

Pizza Hut ran a competition on the Metro site called ‘Christmas with a twist’, which invited users to upload photos they had taken and also vote on their favorite pictures.

Fiat500 – ‘Learn to talk…’

This advertising campaign revolved around different Italian style hand gestures. We came up with the idea of having of a playful Fiat500 drive around the Metro site.

Philadelphia & Aldo

TV Chef Aldo cooked up some of his favourite recipes using a variety of Philadelphia products. The site uses flash video for the recipes and PHP for data.
